Michelle A. Green
Michelle’s primary areas of practice are Real Estate, Land Use, and Water Law, as well as Business Law and general Civil Litigation.
Michelle completed her undergraduate studies at the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. Michelle has been practicing law since 2008 after completing her Juris Doctor (JD) degree at Seattle University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude.
In her practice, Michelle is known for being practical and efficient. She is highly analytical and excels with sophisticated transactions and complex disputes. Michelle’s transactional work involves the negotiation and documentation of purchases, sales, leases, financing, 1031 exchanges, and development of residential and commercial real property. Her litigation practice includes land use appeals, lien foreclosures and construction litigation, enforcement of creditors’ rights and remedies, commercial disputes, and all types of real estate litigation. Michelle works with developers to secure entitlements for their projects, and regularly debates permitting and zoning issues with planning directors, city councils, and county commissions.
Michelle is committed to her practice, and her community. She advocates for the best interest of children in dependency proceedings as a volunteer Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) within Chelan and Douglas Counties. She served on the Board of Directors for the Wenatchee Valley College Foundation from 2011-2019, including as its President for 2015-2017. Michelle regularly speaks regarding current real estate issues at seminars and general meetings for the local chapter of the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women. At the state level, Michelle serves on the editorial board of the Real Property Probate & Trust section of the Washington State Bar Association.
